Managing Performance
Overview
In today’s economic environment, many businesses are dealing with excesses in capacity and some are faced with closure during this recession unable to compete. Consequently, with retrenchments and the job markets getting smaller, there will be high rates of unemployment. Nonetheless, one would still hear that good workers are still hard to come by. How is this so?
In order for an employee to give his/her best performance, his/her skill sets or abilities must match the requirements conditions at the work place. Goals of both the individual and the organization must be aligned as closely as possible to achieve a good fit. Given an employee’s ability to over-achieve his/her performance targets the rewards/incentive for achieving thus must also be in line.
This seminar/workshop will help participants identify how performance goals are set, measured, tracked and appraised. Learn the SMART-way.
