Dr. Allen Teh

Dr. Allen Teh has conducted extensive worldwide research on customer service as well as on customer behaviour related to business.  His latest research was on Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and how that impacts business profitability through employees'  work performance.

Dr. Allen Teh has more than 29 years of work experience in service operations as well as Human Resource Management, Management Consultancy and Training.  He is an experienced Customer Service Consultant, Human Resource Consultant, Human Resource Professional as well as Executive Search Consultant.  He has held senior managerial positions in diverse industries namely food and beverage, entertainment, manufacturing, property development and construction, insurance, oil-palm plantations and biotechnology.  Dr. Allen Teh was also the Managing Consultant with Pricewaterhouse for a period of time as well as Regional Human Resource Director (Asia-Pacific) for Syngenta, a Swiss agrobusiness conglomerate .

Dr. Balbir Singh

Balbir has a wide range of experience both in the not-for-profit and profit sectors in management and leadership roles. He has lectured for 25 years in management, communication, and has facilitated numerous life skill programs. Apart from his operations and management experiences, he is actively involved in planning, and developing of new courses for professionals in the education arena. In many ways, he is a coach, educator, facilitator, and consultant. He is sensitive to the learning needs of others, and has a warm and pleasant personality. He has conducted numerous workshops/seminars in motivation, communications, management, and teacher’s training in Singapore and around the region.

Dr. M. A. Wahab

For almost two decades, Wahab has acquired vast experience in the management and advancement of Human Resource Development & Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Development. He has also developed leadership programs, Results-Based Safety program, conduct audits and counselling of individuals in diverse organisations in Asia and Middle East. And he is responsible for providing oversight and guidance for People Development both personal and in safety aspects.

Academically, Wahab has acquired PhD in Cognitive Studies and currently an associate lecturer for International Diploma in Teaching & Training (UK - since 2006). He has developed and implemented specific learning programs, policies and processes that are aligned with the required business such as overseeing the entire training process from working closely with the various departments to identifying learning gaps/needs and, evaluate, manage and enhance the effectiveness of training & development.

Mr. David I. Stevens

David is a Consultant, Instructional Designer and learning facilitator with many years of experience. He has planned, designed and developed learning materials and facilities for a variety of clients in South East Asia and customised many in-company training programs.

David came to Singapore in 1992 as an Instructional Design Consultant to the Singapore Polytechnic. Prior to coming to Singapore, David taught at both the college and university level where he also designed and developed many courses. He was a Consultant to various Alberta (Canada) government agencies and colleges in training program development and facilities planning, He also spent a number of years as the Instructional Design Consultant to the Faculty of Extension at the University of Alberta, Canada.

Among a number of successful education and training books he has written are Planning a Course: Practical Strategies Tactics and Advice for Teachers, Lecturers and Trainers and Preparing a Course: Practical Strategies Tactics and Advice for Teachers, Lecturers and Trainers.

David holds a Masters Degree in curriculum from the University of Alberta, an undergraduate degree in Vocational Education from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and a teaching certificate from McGill University. Prior to living in Canada he lived in Britain and is an Associate Member of the British Institute of Mechanical Engineers.

Currently David is involved in managing projects for the Singapore Training and Development Association (STADA) revising the Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment and developing the new diploma programme based on the Workplace Development Agency WSQ standards, David is also a managing the instructional design team involved in the computerisation of the foundation documentation required for managing all new NITEC development projects.

Mr. Asher Eng

Asher has a Master Degree in Counselling from Monash University and graduated with a Computation Honours Degree in Bachelor of Science from University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology. He is an approved Advance Certificate & Training Assessment (ACTA) trainer, assessor and developer which is accredited by the Workforce Development Agency. In addition, he is a certified Behavioural Consultant using the unique DISC, certificated practitioner of TJTA, associate of Emergenetics (March 2011) and certified trainer of Prepare-Enrich to help individuals and corporate to realize personal potential and asset within them. He has also a Diploma in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) and is a certified coach and facilitator from Church Resource Ministries of Singapore.

For the past eleven years, he had been involved in non-profit organization which gave him to opportunity to travel to South Africa, China, Taiwan and other part of the world and provide consultation works and training in the non-profit organizations in these countries.

Currently, he is a freelance trainer and lecturer, a lay Team Pastor in Faith Community Baptist Church and a lay counsellor in Touch Community Service. He provides training and coaching to help individual to find their purpose and calling in life, and counsels individuals and couples who are sorting out their issues at any junction of their lives.

Mr. Kevin Koh

An innovative, enthusiastic and passionate English lecturer. Confident Native English speaker with experience in educating large and small groups of students at various levels, from different age groups and from all over the world. One who cares, helps and supports the success of his students. Committed and responsible for his duties. Engages and utilizes Information technology. Willing to share ideas and always desires to improve, learn, and succeed. Kevin has also "Innovation in Teaching" Award 2010 at an established private education institution in Singapore.

Mr. Ho Meng Wai

Meng Wai is an approved Advance Certificate & Training Assessment (ACTA) trainer, assessor and developer which is accredited by the Workforce Development Agency. In addition, he is a certified Behavioural and Values Analyst specialising in the use of the unique DiSC and Values profiling system and its application in personal, team and work related effectiveness programmes. He also specialises in business strategic planning and management. He is a certified trainer for The Percy Institute – International Protocol in areas of Protocol, Presentation and Etiquette.

Organisations that have benefited from his trainings include the various Secondary and Primary schools, local and overseas business corporations and non-profit organisations. He was also a member of The Boys’ Brigade’s Training teams and has been involved in organising and conducting training courses for Boys’ Brigade Officers in several ASEAN countries.

Meng Wai has over fifteen years of experience in regional marketing management and business development in Indo-China, Myanmar, Baltic States, Central Asia and the Russian Federation. He has helped business organisations to establish and manage branch offices in Vietnam, Myanmar, and Thailand. He was also based in Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar and Indonesia for several years. He has also hand held local enterprises through the strategic business planning process as well as establishing strategic plan and measurements.

He has collaborated with a Vietnamese set-up based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam since Jan 2008 to offer consulting and training solutions to foreign companies based in Vietnam and local small and medium enterprises.

Meng Wai holds a MBA from University of Leicester, UK and Bachelor of Business, Curtin University of Technology, Australia.
